Microsoft debuts Halo Infinite gameplay, Xbox Series X
Microsoft is holding an event on July 23 to share more details on new titles for the forthcoming Xbox Series X console. This is the latest big event Microsoft has held for the upcoming gaming system this year, and it comes on the heels of earlier showcases to reveal the design of the new console — in addition to showing off new games from Microsoft's partners.
However, today the focus will shift to games Microsoft is developing for the new Xbox — including Halo Infinite, the latest sequel to its record-setting space war epic shooter series, CNET reports.
As of writing, Microsoft operates 15 different gaming studios, each working on new titles for the Xbox Series X. Beyond Halo Infinite, Microsoft also announced a new action game called Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 — developed by a team at Ninja Theory studio. Another studio, called The Initiative, managed to retrieve a game from the writer behind the hit cowboy saga Red Dead Redemption.
Other games rumored to be in the mix include Microsoft's fantasy series Fable, including a new Forza car racing game.
